Network E-mail Listserv

IFPRIEastAfricaNetwork is the e-mail list server for the IFPRI East Africa Food Policy Network, which broadcasts messages and announcements to its subscribers. Its goal is to provide information and facilitate communication among researchers and policy makers in Eastern Africa, and in particular among those involved or interested in the activities of the IFPRI East Africa Food Policy Network.

The IFPRI Eastern Africa Food Policy Network comprises Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania, and Uganda. It seeks to generate policy-relevant information for food security, poverty alleviation, and natural resource management; improve the dissemation and use of such information; and strengthen the capacity to undertake and communicate policy research and analysis. The Network is housed in the Development Strategy and Governance Division of the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI).

The IFPRIEastAfricaNetwork e-mail list server can be used by all members:

  1. to inform subscribers of ongoing research and research findings and of policies enacted;
  2. to inform subscribers of new publications;
  3. to announce meetings, seminars, conferences, and training activities;
  4. to function as a discussion forum for issues related to food, agriculture and the environment in eastern Africa;
  5. to request assistance in locating additional relevant information.
