The IFPRI Eastern Africa Food Policy Network is coordinated by IFPRI senior staff member, Steven Were Omamo (w.omamo@cgiar.org), with support from Jolly Basemera (IFPRI-EastAfrica@ifpri.bushnet.net), both of whom are based in Kampala, Uganda. The Network's home within IFPRI is the Development Strategy and Governance Division.

The Network is based on a core of country teams, which undertake and coordinate all in-country activities. The teams, drawn from government ministries, research or academic institutions, and civil society organizations, are headed by a leading policymaker or researcher and managed by a country team coordinator.

The Network is guided by a Regional Advisory Committee, which meets once a year to review progress to date and set priorities for the future.

IFPRI's regional partner on this Network is ASARECA's Eastern and Central Africa Program for Agricultural Policy Analysis (ECAPAPA), which is coordinated by Isaac Minde (ecapapa@imul.com).
