Yisehac Yohannes of Ethiopia conducts research and analysis related to poverty alleviation, vulnerability, targeting, and the welfare of the poor. Yohannes, who joined IFPRI in 1985, holds a B.S. in statistics from Haile Sellasie 1st University, Ethiopia, an M.S. in statistics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and an M.S. in food and resource economics from the University of Massachusetts. Yohannes is a research analyst.
