Cereal Systems Initiative for South Asia (CSISA)
IFPRI researchers are responsible for carrying out the policy research agenda of the Cereal Systems Initiative for South Asia (CSISA), which was established in 2009 to support regional and national efforts on improving cereal production growth in the grain baskets of Bangladesh, India, Nepal, and Pakistan. Support for Country Policy Research and Strategy Support Programs
ST&I provides support to the three of IFPRI's support programs in the areas of setting agricultural research priorities; improving agricultural extension; strengthening seed systems; increasing adoption of innovative technologies; and improving agricultural services.
