Mapping Food Security & Climate Change Scenarios
IFPRI partnered with StatPlanet, the maker of web-based map visualization software, to offer Food Security CASE Maps: Interactive Climate, Agriculture, and Socio-Economic Maps that present IFPRI’s latest research on the future of food security, farming, and climate change to 2050. The website displays data and results underlying the analysis in IFPRI’s December 2010 report Food Security, Farming, and Climate Change to 2050: Scenarios, Results, Policy Options. CASE Maps provides detailed information about a diversity of indicators, including subnational crop area and yields, national average calorie availability, and international trade flows.
