Audrey Pereira joined IFPRI as a Research Analyst in the Poverty, Health, and Nutrition Division in January 2018. She has a background in health economics related to maternal, child, and adolescent health and nutrition, focusing on low- and middle- income countries. At IFPRI, she works on the Women’s Empowerment in Agriculture Index (WEAI) and other research related to gender and development.
Prior to joining IFPRI, Audrey worked at the UNICEF Office of Research – Innocenti, the World Bank, and Jhpiego. She holds a master of science in public health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, concentrating on health systems and economics, and bachelors of arts in Economics and French from the University of California, Davis.
