Fatima Zaidi joined the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) in 2011, and is currently a Research Analyst based in Washington, DC. She works on the Pakistan Strategy Support Program (PSSP) and the Cereal Systems Initiative for South Asia (CSISA).
Prior to joining IFPRI, she has worked as a consultant for Foundation Escalera on an educational incentives program in Chiapas, Mexico. She worked at the UN Headquarters in the summer of 2010 in the Global Alliance for Information and Communication Technologies for Development (GAID). Previously, she has worked as research analyst in the Chief Minister’s Monitoring and Implementation Cell in Punjab, Pakistan.
She graduated from the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) at Columbia University with a Masters in Public Administration (MPA), specializing in Advanced Policy and Economic Analysis. She has completed her B.Sc. (Hons) in Economics at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) in 2008.
