John Mazunda is the Country Program Manager for the International Food Policy Research Institute’s Nigeria Strategy Support Program (IFPRI-NSSP). He largely focuses on managing program activities, coordinating capacity building initiatives, developing partnerships, and assists in maintaining active policy dialogue with various partners within the agricultural sector. He previously worked as a Policy Analyst in the IFPRI Malawi Strategic Support Project in Lilongwe (IFPRI-MaSSP). He has valuable experience in project management, quantitative policy analysis, monitoring and evaluation, and event management. He holds an MSc in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University. His research interests include food security and nutrition, technology adoption, rural development, and sustainable natural resource management.
