Mehrab Malek joined the Development Strategy and Governance Division as a Senior Research Assistant in August 2010. He received his Master of Public Policy in June 2010 from the Harris School of Public Policy Studies at the University of Chicago. He has previously worked in Bangladesh, India, and the United States on development research specifically focusing on microfinance and applied general equilibrium economics. Most recently, Mehrab worked on microinsurance with the Institute of Microfinance in Bangladesh, and interned with the Enterprise Initiative at the University of Chicago. He graduated from the University of Richmond in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts with majors in Economics and International Studies, and a minor in History. Mehrab is working for Paul Dorosh, and his current work is with the Ethiopia Strategy Support Program.
