Saiqa Siraj is a Senior Project Manager in the Poverty, Health, and Nutrition Division. She joined IFPRI in April 2016. She manages the Targeting and Re-aligning Agriculture for Improved Nutrition (TRAIN) in Bangladesh, and is actively involved in IFPRI’s wider nutrition activities in Bangladesh. She has provided technical inputs in planning, designing and implementing large-scale nutrition programs, including Alive and Thrive’s Community Component and Bangladesh Sprinkles Project. She has vast expertise in designing, implementing, managing, and refining integrated nutrition programs that aim to catalyze social and behavioral change and operate at scale. Before coming to IFPRI, Saiqa worked with BRAC and was Nutrition Advisor for Save the Children in Bangladesh. She received an MPH from James P Grant School of Public Health, and M.Sc. in Food and Nutrition Science from Dhaka University.
