Sulin Chowdhury is a Senior Research Assistant in the Development Strategy and Governance Division (DSGD).He joined IFPRI in December 2016 to support the World Bank funded Integrated Food Policy Research Program (IFPRP) in Bangladesh. His research emphasis at IFPRI is on agricultural market dynamics and economy-wide modeling. His focus is on modeling dynamic food systems for food security. Prior to joining IFPRI, Sulin served as a teaching assistant in the Agricultural and Resource Economics Department of the University of California, Davis. He received both an M.S. in Agricultural and Resource Economics, and a Bachelors in Economics and Mathematics, from the University of California, Davis, where he graduated with highest honors.
