Waziha Rahman is a Field Research Officer in the Poverty, Health, and Nutrition Division. She joined IFPRI in May 2011. She contributes significant field experience supporting various government studies through the Agricultural Policy Support Unit of the Ministry of Agriculture, including the Ministry of Agriculture’s “Agriculture, Nutrition, and Gender Linkages” pilot project. Her contributions have focused on health service delivery, maternal and child nutrition, and agriculture. Before joining IFPRI, Waziha worked with BRAC as an Assistant Researcher where she supported maternal health-related field operations, and as a Project Officer with Partnership of Women in Action. She received her M.S.S in Anthropology from Jahangirnagar University.
