This project note describes preliminary results from research conducted in the eastern and coastal regions of Kenya by the Aflacontrol Project2—a collaborative research project – to evaluate the prevalence of aflatoxins along the maize value chain and identify critical points where intervention strategies are likely to have the greatest impact.
