ReSAKSS: Sharing Knowledge with African Policymakers

The Regional Strategic Analysis and Knowledge Support System (ReSAKSS) is a large collaboration initiated and led by IFPRI. It was established to support the implementation of the Comprehensive African Agricultural Development Program (CAADP) of the New Partnership for African Development (NEPAD).

ReSAKSS is an outgrowth of the country strategy analysis and knowledge support systems (SAKSS) originally created by IFPRI. The program has grown in complexity and now includes three major components: strategic analysis, knowledge management, and capacity building. Through these components IFPRI provides policymakers and stakeholders with relevant information on investment options, best practices, and statistics to monitor progress and other expertise that can guide the CAADP implementation process.
