Mary Arimond joined IFPRI as a research analyst in 2001. She earned an M.S. in human nutrition from Cornell University and a B.A. in biology from Oberlin College, and has worked in Malawi and Mozambique as well as in domestic (U.S.) nutrition programs. Her current research interests include child feeding and child care practices, dietary diversity and food-based approaches to improving micronutrient intakes, and program monitoring and evaluation.
