Dr. Nicholas A. Linacre is a postdoctoral research fellow. Since joining IFPRI in 2004, Dr. Linacre has carried out research on risk based strategic decision-making and investment analysis on biotechnology for developing countries in Africa and Asia. Dr. Linacre has over 10 years risk analysis experience working in Actuarial management. Prior to joining IFPRI he completed a Ph.D. at the University of Melbourne (Australia) where he also taught courses in Risk Analysis. His dissertation was on integrating risk analysis and cost-benefit analysis for decision-making on biotechnology.
