Helen Markelova, a Russian citizen, joined IFPRI in 2006 as a Senior Research Assistant with the Systemwide Program on Collective Action and Property Rights (CAPRi). Prior to IFPRI Helen worked at the World Bank on assessing the impact evaluations of the World Bank projects and managing the evaluations database. She received a Master's Degree in International Development from American University in Washington, DC.
