Charlotte Block joined IFPRI as the Senior Program Manager for A4NH on November 2012. Charlotte has an M.S. in Food Policy and Applied Nutrition from Tufts Friedman School Science & Policy. Prior to IFPRI, she worked as a Project Officer for Project HOPE as technical backstop in the areas of nutrition and non-communicable disease, specifically diabetes. Charlotte began her career in international development at Mercy Corps working across health, agriculture, economic development and civil society sectors supporting a portfolio spanning Kosovo to Mongolia. Her experience overseas includes conducting M&E for the IDEA-NEW agriculture and livelihoods project in Afghanistan and supporting research for an iodized salt initiative in the Maldives. Charlotte is a registered dietitian with B.A. and B.S. degrees in Asian Studies and Nutrition from St. Olaf College and the University of Minnesota.
