Lucia Madrigal holds a Master’s in Economic and Social Policy Analysis from The University of York in England and a B.S. in Economics from Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas (CIDE) in Mexico City. Before joining IFPRI, Lucia worked at the Poverty and Equity Group at the World Bank and at the Research Department at the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington DC.

Her fields of interest are Labor Markets, Gender Gap, and Food Policy.
