Megan Parker

Megan Parker joined IFPRI in August 2010 as a postdoctoral fellow in the Poverty, Health, and Nutrition Division. Before joining IFPRI, Megan collected data in Kenya and Malawi on issues including indigenous diets, implementation of the HIV and infant feeding guidelines, the use of LNS as a breastmilk substitute, and child growth. Her current research focuses on maternal and child health outcomes in Burundi where she works on the PM2A program. Megan received a PhD in Nutrition Interventions with a concentration in Epidemiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a MSc in International Nutrition from McGill University.
