Rebecca Lee Funk is a Senior Research Assistant in the Development Strategy and Governance Division. Rebecca works for Shashi Kolavalli on the Ghana Strategy Support Program, conducting policy-relevant empirical research and contributing to the development and application of survey instruments and qualitative research methods.

Prior to joining IFPRI in 2011, Rebecca worked as a Junior Consultant for the United Nations Development Programme studying economic vulnerability and resilience in developing countries. She also worked as a Research Assistant for Cheryl Doss studying asset rights in rural Uganda at Yale University.

Rebecca holds an MA in International and Development Economics from Yale University, and an MEM from Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. She completed her undergraduate studies at Pennsylvania State University, earning a BS in General Science, BA in Philosophy, and BS in Accounting.
