Scott Drimie, a research fellow with IFPRI, coordinates the Regional Network on AIDS, Livelihoods and Food Security (RENEWAL). RENEWAL facilitates research on the interactions between HIV and food and nutrition security and their implications for development policy and practice in southern and East Africa. A key strategy of the project is to ensure that scientific evidence is made accessible to decision makers through different communication strategies. More recently, Drimie has been involved in research focused on pathways between agriculture and livelihood programming and nutrition outcomes. This relates to his work with the Agriculture and Health Research Platform (AHRP).
