Sheu Salau joined IFPRI-Abuja as a Senior Research Assistant in March 2008. He studied Agricultural Economics (undergraduate) at the University of Ibadan and graduated with Honors. He also holds an MS in Agricultural Economic from the same university.
Prior to joining IFPRI, Sheu worked as a research assistant with a number of professors at the department of Agricultural Economics, University of Ibadan. He also served as independent monitor for the World Bank sponsored Core Welfare Indicator Survey (CWIQ) in 2006. His research interests include; Agricultural technology and market participation, public investment, migration, agricultural household risk management, land rental market, social protection and governance.
