Su Nu currently serves as a Conference/Meeting Coordinator in the Outreach Unit of IFPRI Communications Department. In this role Su assists with a variety of communications-related activities such as organizing logistics and preparations for internal/external meetings, conferences, and seminars.
Su joined IFPRI in September 2009 as a program assistant for the Development Strategy and Governance Division (DSGD) where she helped with various administrative tasks for the division. She received her undergraduate degree in Asian Studies and Chinese Language (Mandarin) from Bard College at Simon’s Rock in May 2009. Su is a native of Burma (Myanmar) and has a strong interest in community development, international relations, traveling, volunteering, and exploring different cultures and languages.
She is always actively looking for opportunities to be involved with Burma and the monumental changes the country is experiencing.
