GSSP has conducted a series of workshops on economic modeling to build analytical capacity and foster economy-wide strategic thinking. These workshops have led to the formation of the Ghana Modeling Team, which includes members of the following institutions: Bank of Ghana (BOG), Ghana Statistical Services (GSS), Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER), Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning (MOFEP), the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC), and the University of Ghana (UG). The following training activities have been conducted by IFPRI staff:

All training workshops have included extensive hands-on training. In addition to these in-country training activities, course participants are tutored in completing distance learning assignments. Training materials are available upon request.
