Strategic Analysis and Knowledge Support System (SAKSS) for Small Farmer Led Agricultural Growth. Working Draft [revised periodically]
Authors: Michael Johnson, Stanley Wood, John Hoddinott, Peter Hazell and John Lamb
Abstract: Provides a conceptual framework on how to go about identifying IEHA's investment priorities, and monitoring and evaluation of selected investments. It is meant to serve as a useful guide in supporting the decision-making processes of IEHA and its development partners in Africa. The process and guidelines of how this can be done through various partnerships and networks of analytical groups supporting USAID programs in Africa is laid out here as a Strategic Analysis and Knowledge Support System (SAKSS) for IEHA. Still in its infancy, the draft framework of SAKSS continues to be revised and should therefore be regarded as a living document. Accordingly, the most recent version will be made available for downloading at this site whenever the document is updated.
