Initiative to End Hunger in Africa (IEHA)
Special Studies

|
Special studies are designed to help fill knowledge gaps on specific issues that have direct bearing on the successful implementation of IEHA. They are particularly focused on strengthening the knowledge and analysis surrounding the key features of IEHA, as well as the design and implementation of the Initiative's investment themes. An initial identification of key knowledge gaps was made at a stakeholder workshop held in November 2001 at IFPRI. The studies will lead to a series of working papers on best practices and lessons learnt in the design and implementation of agricultural development programs in Africa. Selective and in-depth studies will be conducted over a one- to three-year time frame, depending on the type of study. 2002/03
