The objectives of the project are to:

• Identify investments and policy innovations to create and/or strengthen various economic activities profitable in the Peruvian Sierra and Selva,
• Design a framework for policy interventions that overcome current bottlenecks faced by each of the identified regions within Peru,
• Provide a roadmap for the actions and investments that would be required to profitably realize the economic potential of the two regions, and
• Validate the framework through pilot projects in specific areas, which can henceforth be replicated in other regions.
