| Objective |
To assist life science faculty members in integrating discussions of ethical issues into existing science courses. |
| Stipend |
Each participant from the United States will receive a travel stipend of $1950 to cover airfare, hotel, and meals. Participants from European countries other than Portugal will receive 1000 Euro as travel and living expense allowance. Participants from Portuguese Universities outside the area of Lisbon will receive a 500 Euro travel and living expense allowance. Participants from Portuguese Universities in the area of Lisbon will receive a 250 Euro travel and living expense allowance. Participants also receive lunches, books, case studies, classroom exercises, and bibliographies. |

Applicants must be tenured or tenure-track life science faculty members. |
