- IFPRI Training for Capacity Strengthening Program is pleased to announce the expansion of its web page to include training activities, materials, collaborator networks, conference and fellowship information, and more.
- The Eastern and Central Africa Programme for Agricultural Policy analysis (ECAPAPA) working in collaboration with partner networks, programs and projects under ASARECA, and the international agricultural research centers, announces a request for proposals on the subject "Natural Resource Management and Use: Conflict Minimizing Strategies". Proposals are invited from researchers from all the ASARECA countries. The budget per proposal should not exceed US$20,000, and the project should be completed within nine months. Social Science and Policy Research Network for Agriculture (SSPN)
The Bureau of Agricultural Research of the Philippines Department of Agriculture established SSPN to strengthen agricultural research and development. The network's goals are to achieve efficient, equitable, and sustainable agricultural development through a more rigorous analytical and empirical understanding of rural society, particularly agricultural producer and consumer behavior and the structure, conduct (process), and performance of markets, policies, programs, regulations, and institutions.
