  1. Three new training manuals are available from IFPRI's Training for Capacity Strengthening Program. They are:

    1. Feeding Minds Fighting Hunger: A World Free from Hunger. Food security curriculum development tool for teachers. In collaboration with the American Federation of Teachers, IFPRI, International Education and Resource Network, National Peace Corps Association, Newsweek Education Program, United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, US National Committee for World Food Day, and the World Bank.     Centre for Management in Agriculture (CMA)
    CMA is a multidisciplinary center at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, which was established in 1961 in collaboration with the Harvard Business School.     Southern African Development Community (SADC)
    Regional Food Security Training Programme (RFSTP)

    The SADC-RFSTP evolved from a 3-year food-security training project that ended in 1999. The overall objective of SADC-RFSTP is to contribute to improved food security in Southern African by enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of organizations involved in food security. The activities of RFSTP focus on three main areas: strengthening the supply of food security training service; strengthening the effective demand for training, and developing and sustaining a regional market for food security-related training services.
