Scirus is a new search engine used to find scientific information on 60 million science-related web pages. Some subject areas are agriculture, economics, environmental science, and biosciences. This search engine is located at www.scirus.com.
- Virtual Farm Aid
The International Potato Centre has launched a three-dimensional online research laboratory to make it easier for researcher, teachers, and decisionmakers to work together. Simulation models used in agriculture will become accessible to agriculturalist from anywhere in the world as well as to research institutes that could share their data using the common interface. It also allows researchers who do not have the resources to develop their own modeling systems to use the ones available online. A prototype based on simplified models will be available by the end of this month. Visit the website at www.cipotato.org.

Sustainable Food Security in Central West Africa (SADAOC) is a research-and-dialogue network founded in 1996. SADAOC strengthens the capacity of member countries' research institutions, coordinates activities to induce dialogue between participants of the network, and performs research.
