NETWORK PROFILE
Tanzania Agricultural Policy Analysis Network (TAPANET)
Tanzania Agricultural Policy Analysis Network is a think tank of stakeholders involved in agriculture and related activities. It was formed as a result of combined efforts to address agricultural-sector constraints in Tanzania. TAPANET was initiated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives and the President of the United Republic of Tanzania; the Eastern and Central Africa Programme for Agricultural Policy Analysis (ECAPAPA); International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI); the Food, Agricultural, and Natural Resource Policy Network--Southern African Development Community (FANRPAN-SADC); and other stakeholders. TAPANET emerged to fill the capacity gap in designing Tanzania's economic policy. For more information, visit www.esrf.or.tz/tapanet
