  2. Database on Education and Training Courses in Irrigation, Drainage, and Flood Control
    To support training and capacity building in agricultural water management, the Water Service of the Land and Water Development Division of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the International Commission on Irrigation and Drainage (ICID) Working Group on Capacity Building, Training, and Education have established a web-based database on available training courses. The objectives of the database are to provide global information on education and training in irrigation, drainage, and flood control; to advertise the courses to interested applicants; and to allow potential trainees to review and select training courses.     Economic Research Forum for the Arab Countries, Iran, and Turkey
    In 1993, the Economic Research Forum for the Arab Countries, Iran, and Turkey (ERF) was established to help improve the quality and increase the quantity of applied policy-oriented economic research on the region.
