The effectiveness of small-scale agriculture interventions on household food security was prepared for the Canadian Foodgrains Bank, Inter Pares, Oxfam Canada, Partners in Rural Development, Program Against Hunger, Malnutrition and Disease, Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), and International Development Research Centre (IDRC). The Sustainable Livelihoods (SL) framework used in the study emphasizes the physical, financial, social, human, and natural capital assets for the development of agriculture interventions. Along with the SL framework and its assets, the International Food Policy Research Institute's (IFPRI's) causal model is used to reflect on the nature of the effectiveness of small-scale agriculture interventions on household food security.
