  1. New Name for the Training for Capacity Strengthening Program
    The Training for Capacity Strengthening Program (TCSP) has changed its name to the Strategic Training and Policy Communications Program (STPC), to reflect the program's expanded activities to communicate policy recommendations to decisionmakers and networks.

NETWORK PROFILE

    Poverty Reduction Learning Network
    The Poverty Reduction Learning Network (PRLN) comprises higher education institutions, with its Secretariat at Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda. PRLN addresses the learning needs of planners, managers, and frontline professionals in the public and private sectors, who are responsible for designing and implementing policies and services for the benefit of the poor. The goal is to create an effective, inclusive learning community that facilitates the acquisition of the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to attain international development targets in Eastern and Southern Africa.. PRLN's structure supports the learning needs of personnel in central and local government (including politicians), civil society (particularly service-oriented NGOs), and donor agencies, as well as anyone else who has an interest in eliminating global poverty.
