The electronic Journal of Agricultural and Development Economics (eJADE), a new initiative by the Agricultural and Development Economics Division (ESA) of FAO, is an online, peer-reviewed electronic journal, published three times a year. The first issue presents recent country case studies on agriculture's contribution to poverty reduction, economic growth, and overall social welfare. - The State of Food and Agriculture (SOFA)
SOFA, FAO's annual flagship publication, is now available. SOFA reports on current trends and analyzes key developments in food and agriculture. - Call for Proposals: Macroeconomic Policy Challenges of Low Income Countries
The United Kingdom and the Netherlands governments, the International Monetary Fund, and the World Bank are launching an international research project on key macroeconomic policy challenges faced by low-income countries. The Global Development Network, the organizer, is soliciting proposals for research projects from academics and other researchers based in low-income countries. Submissions are due by April 15. - Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Manual
The United Nations Institute for Training and Research recently release this training manual that outlines the general aspects of PPP and emphasizes the need for cooperation between the public and private sector for sustainable development.
