Rural Development Policies and Sustainable Land Use in the Hillside Areas of Honduras Survey, 2001-2002
This dataset was produced through a collaborative research effort between the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), the Wageningen University and Research Center (WUR), and the National Program for Sustainable Rural Development (PRONADERS) of the Honduran Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock. The surveys were conducted at three levels: farm household, parcel, and plot. The dataset includes economic, educational, environmental, technological, and biophysical survey results for 376 farms, 1066 parcels, and 2143 plots in Honduras. The raw data are available in Spanish in Access and SPSS formats.

Designing Africa’s Poverty Strategies: Creating the Capacity for Policy Simulation
With support from the governments of Sweden and the United Kingdom, the World Institute for Development Economics Research (WIDER) has developed a website that allows users to create “what if” simulation analyses for five different African countries. Each country microsimulation model provides users with the poverty, distribution, and budgetary impacts of their policy choices and compares the simulation results with the current state or the base scenario.
