| Communicating recent developments in agriculture, food, natural resources and environmental policy and announcing opportunities for training for capacity strengthening helps developing-country institutions and individuals update their policy research skills. In 2000, IFPRI initiated an email newsletter on training. This monthly mailing is a source of information on capacity strengthening in food, agriculture, nutrition, and natural resource policy as well as on poverty monitoring and evaluation in both developed and developing countries. The sole purpose of this email list serve is to disseminate information about training materials and training methods, announcements regarding fellowships and scholarships, and relevant upcoming training for capacity strengthening events. Currently, the newsletter reaches over 4,380 individuals and institutions.
