The participants should be active R&D practitioners, working in the areas of planning, monitoring, evaluation, and impact assessment of R&D projects and programs. Knowledge in economics and cost-benefit analysis is beneficial.

To ensure that participants benefit fully from the workshop, course size will be limited to 25 participants.
Workshop Fee: US$2,500.00
Fees cover accommodation, all meals, learning materials, and local transportation. Participants will receive a small daily allowance to help cover incidental expenses. Travel costs from and to a participant's country of origin and health insurance are not included. Participants or their sponsors will have to cover all travel-related costs.

An invoice will be sent to each participant. Please quote the invoice number when transferring the workshop fee to the above address.
Information on funding: In the past a number of donor agencies, foundations and national organizations have provided funding support for participants from developing countries. The following organizations in particular have supported participants on various courses in the past:

- Sub-Regional and Regional organizations and associated networks (for example, FARA, ASARECA, CORAF/WECARD, SADC/FANR)
