Associate Research Fellow


Greg Seymour is an Associate Research Fellow for the CGIAR Research Program on Policies, Institutions, and Markets (PIM). He earned a PhD in Economics from American University in 2015. His current research focuses on (1) developing and testing the validity of various indicators of women’s empowerment and (2) how constraints associated with gender affect adoption of improved technologies and management practices, attainment of food security and asset accumulation at the household level, and nutritional outcomes. His previous research interests include agricultural productivity, time use, and subjective well-being.
