Julie Collins is a Research Analyst in IFPRI’s West and Central Africa Office, based in Washington, DC. She earned her MS in Agricultural and Applied Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2012. Previously she worked as a Refugee Employment Counselor in St. Cloud, Minnesota, providing services to Somali and other refugees. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Knox College in French and International Studies.
