How to Achieve Food Security in a World of Growing Scarcity

In order to provide decisionmakers with the evidence they need to craft strategic agricultural technology investment decisions and policies, the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) has launched a two-year project to assess the potential impacts of specific agricultural technologies and practices on crop yields globally and specifically for developing countries. Funded by CropLife International, the study, How to Achieve Food Security in a World of Growing Scarcity, uses economic models to determine the potential benefits and drawbacks of these technologies as they relate to yield and production growth, food security, and food supply, demand and trade.
