Govt’s aman purchase hits a record (The Daily Star)
The Daily Star (Bangladesh) reported on the Bangladesh government’s highest purchase (since 1996) of aman paddy (since 1996). Country Director and Senior Research Fellow Akhter Ahmed said, “It is commendable. This shows that the government can buy paddy if it has willingness.
