Carol Waweru is a Research Associate in IFPRI’s Markets, Trade, and Institutions Unit. Her research interests are in agricultural economics, digital innovations in agriculture, impact evaluation, gender in agriculture, agripreneurship, and agricultural risk management for smallholder farmers. She has worked previously with the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT, as well as GIZ Kenya. She holds a master’s degree in Agricultural and Applied Economics from the University of Nairobi, Kenya, in collaboration with the University of Pretoria, South Africa.
