Samyuktha Kannan is a Senior Research Analyst in the Markets, Trade, and Institutions Unit. She works on research projects pertaining to crop insurance and technology adoption in India. She has previously worked on issues of financial access, agriculture, and nutrition at J-PAL/IFMR LEAD and the Tata Cornell Institute. She holds degrees in Applied Economics from Cornell University and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-Madras).
