FoodTank reported on IFPRI's new Global Foresight for Food and Agriculture tool that predicts the future effects of today’s development investments in the food system. Markets, Trade, and Institutions Division Director Rob Vos and Senior Research Fellow Keith Wiebe explain the tool, “Foresight tools like this allow us to explore a wide range of possible future scenarios, under conditions that we cannot fully predict. This helps us anticipate and prepare for an uncertain future by making better-informed decisions today.”
