Shahnila Dunston

Senior Research Analyst

Shahnila Dunston is a Senior Research Analyst at IFPRI working on the Global Futures and Strategic Foresight program of the CGIAR. She joined IFPRI in 2012 to work on IFPRI’s International Model for Policy Analysis of Agricultural Commodities and Trade (IMPACT). Shahnila holds a M.S. in Agricultural and Consumer Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Prior to working at IFPRI she spent two years as a research associate at the Institute of Water Policy, Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore. At IFPRI, her work focuses on foresight scenario analysis under climate change, changes in technology, and hunger and malnutrition.
