Lina Alaaeldin Abdelfattah

Lina Alaaeldin Abdelfattah is a Senior Research Associate in the Development Strategies and Governance Unit, based in Cairo. Her research interests include applied economic development, trade, and spatial economics, with a focus on topics relevant to social protection, food, nutrition, and agriculture in the Middle East and Africa.

Food for Peace Reform Act (Inside Sources)

Inside Sources published an op-ed by senior research fellow Joseph Glauber on the Food for Peace Reform Act, a bill introduced by Bob Corker and Christopher Coons of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Glauber argues that the Act will address two main flaws in US emergency aid policy: food sourcing and cargo preference.
