Which countries are affected by the Ukraine crisis? (Data Indonesia)

Data Indonesia published an article on how the war in Ukraine has affected other countries worldwide. The war between Russia and Ukraine had a huge impact on the economy, especially the supply of food. As a result of the war, Ukraine was forced to stop the export of several food commodities to protect its domestic food supply. This has sparked fears of an economic recession and famine in some parts of the world. According to data from IFPRI, the impact of export restrictions by Ukraine is felt by countries in the Middle East and Africa the most. Tajikistan is the country most affected by Ukraine's export restrictions. IFPRI data (see IFPRI tool, Food & Fertilizer Export Restrictions Tracker) show that 77.44 percent kilocalories (kcal) of Tajikistan's food imports have been affected by Ukraine's export restrictions. Uzbekistan is in second place with 71.71 percent kcal of its food imports affected by Ukraine's export restrictions. The next affected countries are Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan with 63.17 percent kcal and 55.63 percent kcal respectively.
